OverviewThe Village at Ocean's End is a "houseaminium" development project in Southwest Harbor, Maine. All units are legally condominiums, but are individually standing houses. The members of this pristine community will belong to a homeowners association with numerous amenities available to its residents, as well as an unbeatable lifestyle only available on Mount Desert Island. All residents have access to the water from the Village at Ocean's End pier.
The houses are being built in phases. Phase One is already underway, and will continue throughout this summer. For more up-to-date information, please visit our Recent News. |
The PhasesPhase One, as indicated on the map above, includes units 1-15. Units 4, 10, 11, and 15 are all completed and have been sold. Units 5, 6, and 8 are all for sale and at various stages of the construction process. The Village at Ocean's End pier is part of Phase One, and applications for summer 2016 slip rentals are currently being accepted. Phase One also includes the waterfront gazebo as well as the community fire pit, both located on the path to the pier.
Phase Two, as diagrammed, will be more of a neighborhood feel and will include the construction of a pool and other outdoor recreation courts. Not shown on this map is the back 27 acres of the property abutting Acadia National Park. This land will be used for a trail system where residents can hike, walk their dog, or bike. Included in this plot of land is a marsh fabulous for birdwatching. |
